Michael Shannon (Son Hayes) has appeared in over 30 feature films. These include Pearl Harbor, Eight Mile, High Crimes, Grand Theft Parsons, and The Woodsmen. Most recently, Shannon portrayed the ex-marine Dave Karnes in Oliver Stone's World Trade Center.

Scheduled for release in Spring of 2007, Shannon will star with Ashley Judd in William Friedkin's film adaptation of Tracy Lett's play Bug. Bug, a modern day thriller, premiered at Cannes in May of 2006. Roger Ebert writes, "The film has caused a stir at Cannes, not least because its stars, Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon, achieve a kind of manic intensity that's frightening not just in itself but because you fear for the actors." Extra's Sneak Peak states, "the film, slated for release later this year, is already drumming up major Oscar buzz at the Cannes Film Festival." Michael also has roles in Curtis Hanson's upcoming film Lucky You and Bob Odenkirk's Let's Go to Prison.

Barlow Jacobs (Kid Hayes) was born and raised in Lookout Mountain, TN. Since filming Shotgun Stories, Jacobs wrote, produced and starred in the film Low and Behold, which recently premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. In addition to this, Jacobs has appeared in two other feature films: Craig Zobel's Great World of Sound, which also premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, and Michael Almereydas New Orleans, Mon Amour. Jacobs also has two scripts in pre-production, Grits 'Til 11 with Sugar Film Productions and Turkey In The Straw with Plum Productions. He currently lives in New Orleans, LA.

Natalie Canerday (Nicole Hayes) has appeared in more than 12 feature films, including Mike Nichols' Biloxi Blues, Carl Franklin's One False Move, and her most famous role as Frank's mother Linda in Billy Bob Thornton's Sling Blade. Most recently, Canerday appeared with Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line.

Glenda Pannell (Annie Hayes) was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. She studied at the University of Memphis where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre. After college, Pannell decided to place her focus on film. In addition to Shotgun Stories, Pannell was cast as a lead in Lincoln Mercury's online short film experiment Meet the Lucky Ones, directed by Derek Cianfrance. In 2006 she played the female lead in the independent feature Just the Two of Us, directed by Keenon Nikita; Grand Prize winner at the American Artist Film Festival in Kansas City. Glenda currently lives in Los Angeles.

Michael Abbott, Jr. (Cleaman Hayes) was born and raised in East Tennessee, and graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in Drama. His professional theatre experience has taken him from the stages of New York City, to many of the nations most prestigious regional theatres. He is a proud member of John Houseman's TONY honored 'Acting Company', and he currently resides in New York City.

Travis Smith (Mark Hayes) was born in Winston-Salem, NC and is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in Drama. An actor and a singer/songwriter he has played all over the country as well as Australia. Currently Travis works as an actor in Atlanta theatres. Most recently, he received a Suzi-Bass Award nomination for his role in the original play Keeping Watch.

Adam Stone (Cinematographer) graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking with a degree in Cinematography. Stone is the co-founder of Mortimer Jones, a production company located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Stone has shot 2nd Unit Photography for three of David Gordon Green's feature films: George Washington, All the Real Girls, and Undertow. Since completing filming on Shotgun Stories, Stone shot Craig Zobel's feature film Great World of Sound, which recently premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

David Gordon Green (Producer) was raised in Texas. He attended the North Carolina School of the Arts where he studied directing. His first feature, George Washington was awarded the New York Film Critics prize for Best First Film, and The Discovery Award at the Toronto Film Festival; it was also named one of the top films of 2000 by Roger Ebert, The New York Times, Time Maqazine and many others. Green's other films include All The Real Girls, Undertow, and most recently Snow Angels, which premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Ben Nichols and his Memphis based band, Lucero (Original Score), have been together since 2000. With seven completed albums, Lucero continues to earn critical acclaim and die-hard fans. Rolling Stone included Lucero's album Nobody's Darlings in their "Hot List," calling it, "the country album the Replacements never made." Their latest album, Rebels, Rogues, and Sworn Brothers, was released in September of 2006.

Cosmo Pfeil (First Assistant Director) performed the role of Norman in Shotgun Stories in addition to working as First Assistant Director. Cosmo is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in Drama. Cosmo recently appeared in Northern Kingdom, Pose Down and Descent. Happy Now won Best Short Film and the Cinefoundation Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004. Currently, you can watch Cosmo as bad boy "Gabe" on ABC's daytime drama "One Life To Live".
